Video and rambling

I did a video today.
I use these recipe/index cards to do a lot of my journaling and thought I would share it with you all.

I seemed to drag my @ss today. I didn't get a good sleep last night. Thanks to hubby's snoring, I ended up on the couch....or I should say the love seat. The couch had my supplies on it and I was to tired to move them.
The love seat was fine until our cat Rose found me, knew that wasn't where I should be sleeping and meowed, like she was run over by a lawn mower.

We had the boys over tonight for supper. The boys are Ashley's boyfriend Tyler and Kristy's boyfriend Blake. Wayne made us chicken breasts with mashed potatoes and stuffing. Yumm. I am not looking forward to him going back to work on Monday...then I have to cook :(

I am working on my Project 365 right now. Hubby and Sharon are outside doing bad things. If you read me post from last Friday, you would know what I'm talking about. I think Marlene needs to visit, teehee.
So I thought I would sneak on here and do my post.
I am so proud of myself for still going strong on my Project 365. I know, I know its only the second month, but so far so good.

Tomorrow I am going to sleep in. I'm going to sleep until I can't sleep anymore, then I'm going to sleep some more ;)

Hope you had a creative Friday :)

Tracy

  1. More power to you on the sleeping in, I plan on it too :0) Good job still going on your P365! I finished a mini so I just need to add the photos tomorrow and do the video and pictures, yay! I haven't done a mini in a while so now it got me going again. I took a vow to myself to not shop about 2 weeks ago unless it is adhesive so I can use up a lot of stuff I have. I hoard paper like crazy and I really need to use it up so I can buy new stuff. Wish me luck, I'm trying to hold out for as long as possible, so far so good :0) Have a fabulous weekend with your family!

  2. Tracy,
I love the idea of using the cards, inside cards. Whenever I write a greeting for a card, it is never straight. This way will save me so much paper and time
    Great tip

  6. Good grief, I tried to sleep in today but between one daughter needing covered back up, another one getting up to poop and the dog needing to go out that wasn't happening. There's always Sunday right? Loved your video, you're even creative with recipe cards!

  8. Thanks for leaving a comment on my blog. I wanted to tell you that copics are great, the blending possibilities are amazing, however SU markers are great too, you can blend with those as well, check out www.canadiannickelscrapn.blogspot.com, she uses SU markers and does an amazing job of coloring and blending. Copics are expensive for the most part and you buy everyother number in a color family to blend together nicely. I hope you give one of them a try. Im still learning my copics, self taught from watching YT videos, Im loving it.
    Have a great day!

  9. Love the index card ideas! Especially the one about using them inside a card. (smacking self on side of head) Now, WHY didn't I think of that?! Hope you get better sleep tonight. I love my sleep, and if I can't sleep at night, well my families in trouble.:-P Thanks for sharing!

  10. I didn't sleep well either tracy. I fell asleep on the couch snuggled with the kitty on my head, feet on the floor and the dog so close to my butt that I couldn't move a hip to save my life. Hubby covered me up though, but very crappy sleep.
I use recipe cards to write recipes on. LOL I know smart @ss huh? tee hee. I have to cook cause got the new stove eh. So it is cooking for me. I am working a little album. mmmmmmmm can't imagine who it could be for? tee hee.
thanks for the video, keep them coming. Good for you on the 365. I wish I was done with my furniture projects but they all came to a halt with the weather.:(
Have a great one my friend

  12. I hate having a poor night's sleep. It doesn't make for having a good next day. But, it sounds like the hubs made a delicious dinner & you didn't have to cook one day.

I gotta hand it to ya for sticking with Project 365 THIS long! I wouldn't get past the 2nd day! LOL!!!

  14. Hello,

Recipe cards make a great gift for the person who loves to cook. Also, this is a good way to bring back a time-honored tradition of passing on recipes to your friends and family. Thanks for all your positive comments.
